Professional installation
FIFTH & BEAM ceiling fixtures are hardwired. A qualified installer should confirm the circuit, junction box, grounding, structural support, wall control and local code requirements before mounting the product.
Ceiling lights
Confirm that the existing box and mounting surface can support the fixture. Compare the canopy or backplate area with the electrical box and ceiling opening before installation.
Fan lights
Fan lights require a fan-rated junction box and appropriate structural support. A standard light-fixture box is not sufficient. For sloped ceilings, confirm the compatible downrod or slope adapter and maximum angle before ordering.
Before discarding packaging
Lay out the fixture body, diffuser or shades, hardware, LED module or bulbs, receiver, remote and instructions. Complete inspection and a basic function check before disposing of protective materials.
