Color Temperature & Dimming Guide

What color temperature should I choose?

Quick answer: Choose the appearance that fits the room and confirm the exact product option.

  • 2700K–3000K: warm, relaxed appearance
  • Around 4000K: clearer neutral appearance
  • 5000K–6000K: cooler daylight-like appearance

Selectable CCT

A selectable-CCT product lets the supported temperatures be chosen in the manner stated for that model. Selection may be on a fixture switch, wall control or remote; do not assume the method.

Dimming compatibility

Integrated drivers, bulbs and wall dimmers must be compatible. The product specification controls whether dimming is supported and which control method applies.
